Our driver/guide will pick you up from place of your staying in Fes to travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the charming town of Iftane, known as "the Switzerland of Morocco". Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where Barbary macaques can be spotted, before reaching Midelt for lunch. The journey then takes you through the dramatic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga, where you will embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a stunning desert sunset. The concludes with a traditional Berber dinner and an overnight stay in a desert camp under the starry sky.
Your camp guest will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. After breakfast you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Meet you driver/guide travel towards the dramatic Todra Gorge, a towering canyon that attracts climbers and nature lovers. Enjoy a walk along the gorge's riverbed before continuing to the picturesque Dades Valley, know for its unique rock formations and lush oasis landscapes. Spend the night in a guesthouse or Hotel.
On the final day, journey through the famous "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs", stopping at Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara, and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning ancient kasbah that has served as a backdrop for many Hollywood films. The trip then continues through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass before arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech in the evening.
