Marrakech to Fes desert tour 4 days

The 4-day tour from marrakech to fes starts in the morning with a pickup from your Riad/Hotel. Today, we will be driving through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi ‘n’ Tishka Pass with stops along the way to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a well-known castle that belonged to the Glaoui Pasha. A Kasbah which represents a great example of a remaining historical spot that is why it was one of the multiple sites at the -UNESCO World Heritage list-. Continued by Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa”. On the route to the Dades Valley, the way of thousand Kasbahs, provides numerous photo opportunities. We may visit Skoura village and the Roses valley. Arrive at the Valley of Dades where to spend the night.

Take your breakfast, and ride over the Dades valley, before getting to Merzouga. We’ll be driving to the gorges of Todra, they are spectacular limestone river canyons to discover and appreciate its beauty. Continue via the towns of Tinejdad, Touroug, and Erfoud. Erg Chebbi Dunes are the highest dunes in the Sahara Desert. When you arrive at Merzouga you will Change from Car to a dromedary ( Camel Ride) to cross dunes to spend the night in the camp, Private tent with private bathroom. Dinner & Breakfast included,  be free to ask and request for your needs. That particular night ended with a Berber Bonfire jam session.  

Your camp guest will wake you up early in the morning to watch what may well be the best sunrise of your life. After breakfast, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Meet your guide/driver to leave for ZIZ VALLEY through Rissani and Erfoud. The first stop will be in Rissani The ancient capital of Tafilalet, it is called old Sijilmassa, the sourcing center of ancient caravans from the Sahara. We visited the old traditional market and Moulay Ali Chrif Ksares ( Village). Afterward, we will drive to Erfoud, the capital of Fossiles, where you will visit the Fossils Factory and have an idea how they clean that amazing and beautiful design. After lunch in Erfoud we will drive to Ziz Valley where you will spend the night. Afternoon Hiking Trip! 

After breakfast in your hotel we will drive to Fes through Tizi-nTalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert. On the way to Fes we will stop at the cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. Afterward, we will have a stop in Ifrane, also known as Moroccan Switzerland. We'll arrive at Fes in the afternoon Where our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes will end! Our driver/guide will drop you wherever you want in safe hands.
